Aaron Damon Porter’s studio is one of three in the Art Joseph building that will be open for the Art Walk.
Aaron Damon Porter is a 2026 Cranbrook Painting alumnus and showed his work most recently with an installation at Chore Gallery in August. Aaron moved to Detroit in 2024 after 15 years as a full-time artist in New Orleans, LA. He is a painter and puppeteer, currently building a new body of works that use twin boxsprings as the base for topographical investigations into queer embodiment and trans lived experience.
